Wendell V. Roberson Sr.


Brother Roberson, a native of Beaufort SC, was initiated into the Fraternity in the fall of 1982 in the Eta Psi Undergraduate Chapter at East Carolina University. He was #6 of the Knights of the Round Table, where his designation was Galahad. While at ECU he served in the position of Vice Polemarch and Songster. He was a member of the Gulfport-Biloxi Alumni Chapter while stationed in Biloxi, MS.

Brother Roberson served as an officer in the US Air Force, and achieved the rank of Captain, before honorably separating. He was the Executive Director STARBASE MCAS Beaufort, a DoD educational program which concentrated on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education for elementary school students for twelve years. He has worked with the Department of Social Services, Beaufort County School System, MCAS Beaufort, and the Beaufort County Detention Center. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Board of Elections/Voter Registration for Beaufort County, SC.

He is member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where has served in the Deacon’s Ministry, is the director of the Male Chorus, Assistant Superintendent of the Sunday School and the Exodus after-school ministry. He is a single father with two children, Alexis of La Marque, TX and Wendell Jr, (VJ) a senior at Battery Creek High School, Beaufort SC.
